Stratford, Ontario

Went to Stratford for their Shakespeare Festival with my sister. That was a great time. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I was blown away by the performances.

We saw "Hamlet" and "Taming of the Shrew," and they were both amazing. Polonius will probably always be my favorite character in "Hamlet." He is such an obnoxious windbag. I love him,.

Anyway, Stratford is a very nice little town. It is absolutely a place I would like to go back and spend more time in,. It has all sorts of cute little shops and restaurants, plus there are some beautiful gardens. Stunning gardens, actually. 

Oh, and we totally drove over to Niagara Falls, too. Because we could. It was worth driving the extra distance. Because water falls.

I love driving over the Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor. It's great that I live so close to Canada, because Canada is a great place. Actually, I just plain love Canada.

So, I wasn't planning on this at the beginning of the summer, but then I got a great deal on a hotel, so I am totally going to Toronto at the end of August. Going to a couple Blue Jays games!
